Our independently developed Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) interrogators, ixDAS, incorporate world-leading optical fiber sensing capabilities. This groundbreaking technology was invented by Phd. Zuyuan He (Chairman of Aikawa Photonics) – Chair Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and former specially appointed professor at the University of Tokyo – and has earned high acclaim across both industry and academia.
In joint testing with the University of Tokyo Earthquake Research Institute, our DAS interrogator demonstrated sensitivity over 30 dB higher than that of leading international manufacturers’ products. This opens new possibilities across diverse fields, from marine environmental surveys to urban lifeline monitoring.
