ixDAS-5000 High-Performance Distributed Acoustic Sensor (DAS) Interrogators
To be released
Product Details
The ixDAS-5000 high-performance distributed acoustic sensor (DAS) interrogator utilizes AllianStream Photonics’ proprietary pulse compression coding modulation DAS technology. This cutting-edge technology transmits coded pulse laser probe signals into sensing fibers, receiving and analyzing the backscattered light signals to gather vibration and acoustic information along optical cables stretching up to hundreds of kilometers.
This technology addresses the typical trade-offs between spatial resolution and detection sensitivity found in conventional DAS systems and overcomes issues with coherent fading that plague standard DAS implementations.
It can cover significantly longer distances compared to traditional DAS. The ixDAS-5000 represents a significant advancement in di stributed acoustic sensing, offering unp aralleled performance in precision, range, and adaptability for a wide array of demanding applications.
